connie@acupuncturebelair.com
Connie was born in Harford County. Her family has resided here since the 1700's. She graduated from Bel Air High School and attended Harford Community College. Her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Sciences is from the University of Maryland. In her post college lives, she was Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Denver Birth Center, graduated from the Denver Paralegal Institute, and completed a Department of Defense Master's Level Intern Program in Manpower and Force Development working several years as a Management Analyst. She decided to change her professional career to Full Time Mom with the birth of her third child. Alas, children do grow up!
In 2003, she received her Master's Degree in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Laurel, Maryland and her license to practice acupuncture from the State of Maryland.
Connie developed her senior project into a pilot program in partnership with the Health Department of Harford County providing Acudetox acupuncture to clients in relationship with substance. The National Acupuncture Detoxification Association certified her as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist. This program was adjunct to health department services from September 2003 through June 1, 2005.
Family, quilting, meditation in the midst of chaos, devotion to the spiritual essence of Christ, and practicing the art of presence are Connie's special joys and gifts. She will guide you in your own personal journey of wellness and discovery using healing philosophies and the practices of Classical Acupuncture.
